Following the Pittsburgh Steelers victory over the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football yesterday, former teammates, members of the media, current players and more took to Twitter to honor the star quarterback.
Ben Roethlisberger ended his Hall of Fame career with a 26-14 victory over Cleveland in which he threw for 109 total passing yards and just one interception, ending his career without a sub-.500 season.
Following the game, Ben (and the Steeler Nation) hung around the stadium for one final “lap” before heading back to the locker room with his family by his side.
We’re not crying…
Thank you 7‼️ Thank you for the leadership, support and friendship. My QB for my entire career. 2 Super Bowls and moments I’ll never forget. Legendary career, next stop Canton. @_BigBen7 #Steelers @steelers pic.twitter.com/yWyBhP3hAI
