I was one of the folks who was fortunate enough to have off this Thursday as we all moved into the weekend. While some of us may be stuck with a case of the Sunday Scaries, this week has me looking forward to several awesome beers I need in my life this week!

As someone who is coming into my love of hoppy brews, single hop beers excite me because they help me see what flavors I love and others that I need to leave behind. With IPAs, it’s fun for me to see what I like with hop profile flavors, This week’s release is all things citra at Trace Brewing. Physical Media is a recent release that is a classic brew of all things citra. Chock full of stone fruit notes and Berry taste, this is floral IPA with lots of a tasty floral notes. At 7.7%, it packs a punch too!

Personally, I’m really excited to head on over to Trace soon to try this hoppy and tasty brew. Not into all things hoppy? I was fortunate enough to visit on Veteran’s Day this past week and loved Sacred Objects. A 10% imperial stout made with a blend of dark malts and a large amount of oats and maris otter barley, this dark brew is such a tasty treat. With notes of dark chocolate,  burnt caramel, and dark red fruit leather and roasted coffee, this brew is a dark beer lover’s dream!

Whether you’ve loving all things hoppy or wanting to embrace the dark side, pick up either of these beers this week and let us know what you think! Needless to say, Trace is absolutely killing it this week!
