Many of us came, saw and fested this weekend at Drink the Cookie Table. The taplist had me drooling as I love anything dessert beer! Combine that with a high-gravity beer and I’m first in line! I wasn’t able to attend the fest this weekend, but I’ve started to make a list of the brews I need to try this week, and this brew tops the list!
This collab has me so excited, and it’s still available at the breweries! Chocolat Oblivion is a 13% triple chocolate imperial stout that sounds beyond. A collab between Hop Farm Brewing, 412 Brewery and Mon Aimee Chocolat, this is a stout inspired by the Chocolat Oblivion cake from Enrico Biscotti. Loaded with 25 pounds of single origin Peruvian Chocolate, this is a chocolate lover’s delight. There’s also a sprinkle of sea salt mixed into the brew.
The result? A dangerously chocolatey beer that is big on taste and ABV. If you love an end of day sipper like I do, this is the perfect dark beer nightcap. 412 has created many a dark brew I love and Hop Farm creates some of the tastiest beers in the ‘Burgh, so this combo is a must have for me! It’s available on tap at both breweries and in cans at Hop Farm, so taste this chocolate treat when you need a pick me up this week!
Needless to say,this beer is first on my list to find this week. I’ve been so interested in so many of these amazing beer from this festival! Well done, Hop Farm, 412, and Mon Aimee Chocolat!
