I know. I just said “Halloweekend,” but this is a really exciting time for me. I love the chilly weather, Halloween decorations, and sitting outdoors at a brewery. The weather hasn’t cooperated this year, but do you know what I love at all times of the year? Tacos. Luckily for me, Imprint Beer Company is opening their new Mexican fusion restaurant, Cantina Rabo, this weekend and giving away free shirts to the first 100 customers.

When a brewery opens its own restaurant, you can expect beer to play a part in its recipes, but it goes far beyond the classic beer/cheddar cheese dip. They utilize beer in everything from beer-braised meats to a rich stout mole. They do have beer cheese, but it’s not your regular lager/cheddar combo. They have an IPA blue cheese that they use on a few of their flatbreads. Cantina Rabo will also serve tacos and bar apps including a candied bacon flight (I know, right?!) and homemade corn tortilla chips. View the full menu here.

They’re not only opening Cantina Rabo. They’re releasing an array of Halloween-themed beers this weekend, including the return of Throat Scythe. They brewed this beer with Carolina Reapers, known as one of the hottest chiles on earth. Try this beer… If you dare.
