As someone who works with kids by day and loves craft beer by night, this release is super important to me and hits all things necessary to make me take note. This week, Two Frays Brewery released a new brew that honors and supports those battling rare childhood diseases.
BBB, or Ben’s Birthday Beer, hit the taps this week to honor a friend of the Brewery who passed in 2015 of a rare childhood disease. A portion of all of the proceeds from this important brew will be donated to support families of children battling rare diseases. Sounds like the perfect cause to raise a glass to and support.
BBB is a hazy hop bomb of a beer that is loaded with tropical flavor. Hopped with Cashmere and Eukanot, this brew has a hazy, pillowy mouthfeel. You’ll taste notes of pineapple, lime zest, and ripe red berry with this beer. At 6.8% this is a lovely New England IPA that hits all of those hazeboi notes I know and love. With this beer supporting a great cause, I will be grabbing one this week for sure!
Not into hazy brews? Don’t worry, Two Frays has a bunch of other tasty choices available. They released their first DIPA recently, Five Horizons, which is hopped with five hops grown on five different continents. Want to keep it seasonally delicious? The Gemulitch Marzen was released and accompanied the slightly colder weather we’re experiencing perfectly. Raise a glass to Two Frays and the awesome cause they’ve decided to support with the release of BBB!
