Three years ago, Imprint Beer Company sold crowlers off their dock in Hatfield. Shortly thereafter, they opened the taproom at the same location. I’ve been going there ever since, and I’ve had all of their OG IPAs including Galactic Syringe, which is why I’m really excited for this week’s releases. They brought it back in two new variants including Triple Dry Hopped and Pineapple. Imprint released the pineapple variant once before, but this is the debut of the Triple Dry-Hopped version. The original packed a ton of hop flavor, but they used even more in this version.
Over the past year, Imprint has been releasing Triple Dry-Hopped versions of all their original IPAs including My Morning Haze and now Galactic Syringe. The TDH versions are always delicious and score highly on Untappd. They might even be arguably better than the originals. So hop heads better make plans to get to Imprint this weekend.
The original Galactic Syringe is exactly what you think: an IPA hopped entirely with Australian Galaxy. I know it’s cliche to love Galaxy hops, but I’m a sucker for those citrus, peach, and passionfruit notes. It goes so well in creamy, heavily-hopped IPAs. These beers will be available for takeout and on-site consumption starting this Friday, September 24th, and they’ll be available for Pennsylvania shipping Sunday night until Tuesday morning.
