Every so often, a brew comes about that you just need to try. Maybe it’s the flavor, the adjunct, or a really fun name, but it just screams MUST TRY! This week, I’ve gotten a glimpse at Yellow Bridge Brewing’s latest release and oh man it sounds good!
Yapped is a collaboration between Yellow Bridge and Tapped Brick Oven, a local restaurant in Greensburg, PA. This is a purple lactose IPA dry hopped with Citra and Eukanot cryo hops and conditioned on lots of vanilla and mixed berries. An 8% double IPA, this is a sweet treat that still packs a nice hoppy punch!
So how’s it taste? Drinking with a smooth and pleasant mouthfeel, this is a creamy and tropical treat that will please many a beer lover. Snag this at Yellow Bridge or at Tappen Brick Oven while you still can!
Curious about what else is on tap over at Yellow Bridge? You can snag a Little Dude, a 5.4% personal favorite of mine from my last visit to the brewery. A light, hazy brew that packs a fruity aroma. It’s craft beer week out in Greensburg, and their GBGCBW collab is a 5.4% lager that is brewed with locally-grown Allegheny Pilsner malt and dry-hopped with Motueka hops. Check it out!
I’m now officially planning my next trip to Yellow Bridge ASAP! Cheers to some amazing beers, guys!
