If there’s one thing I love, it’s a stupidly high gravity stout. Whether it’s June or January, your girl is in. This week, I’ve got my alarms and timers set for the latest release from Abjuration Brewing and it looks beyond!
Dark Chemistry: Dessert Stout (DS 1.2) is a 10.5% brew that looks to be a sweet treat to remember. With a grist composed of 2row, cookie malt, carafe, oats, and a blend of roasted malts, and a hefty dose of milk sugar added post-boil, this is a killer pastry stout. Conditioned on cocoa nibs, chocolate, and fresh roasted coconut and pecans, this is perfect for all of us out there who love our beers sweet. A homage to a German chocolate cake, you simply can’t ignore this one, yinz.
Now, this one is a special release and available for in person sales only. Abjuration will be open from 5-9pm this Tuesday for sales. There is a limit of 2 bottles per person, so make sure you get there if you love all things dark and sweet. Draft will also be flowing for this brew if you want to check it out this way.
With label art from a local tattoo artist, Doug Nedzesky, the bottle looks absolutely sick in the best way possible. Get to Abjuration Brewing this Tuesday and partake in some Dark Chemistry!
