This release has me so excited and proud to be involved with Pittsburgh breweries. Dancing Gnome Beer, one of Pittsburgh’s most highly regarded breweries, has released She Knows Beer this week, a brew that supports an important cause!
Collaborating with the Pittsburgh Brewery Diversity Council and several of the talented women behind the beer at Dancing Gnome and other local breweries, I had the pleasure of tasting this brew on its release day and it’s phenomenal. A 4.6% American Red Ale, it’s such an easy drinker! Expect biscuit notes with tasty malt flavors. I freaking loved it.
Brewed to honor and support women in the brewing industry, portions of the proceeds from this collaboration will go to Planned Parenthood. In a year where women have shared their experiences with sexism in the industry, I’m so honored and proud to live in a city that celebrates the great things women in beer can do!
Available in four packs and on draft in the brewery, Dancing Gnome is a must-stop this weekend for your Labor Day drinking plans. They’ve got one of the most varied tap lists I’ve seen at the brewery recently as well! Kick off your fall drinking by grabbing a pint of Okta, a 5.2% märzen that has all of the smooth, malty goodness you need for a little taste of Oktoberfest.
Thank you to Dancing Gnome for supporting women and diversity in the brewing industry with this new release! I’ll be back to grab at least another four pack of it ASAP this weekend!
