It’s a big weekend over at Butler Brew Works! This Saturday, this brewery celebrates five years in the business. They’ve got some big releases this week that pack a punch! Here’s what’s dropping this Saturday.
First off, let’s hit a tart note. Five Year Plan is a sour that is equal parts fun and funky. Created to reflect on all of the crazy memories that have happened at the brewery, check out the sick label art to see the events depicted!
A pineapple raspberry sour with lactose, this brew is conditioned on lime and toasted coconut for a tropical explosion of flavor. Tart, but refreshing, Five Year Plan has lots of fruit aroma and a soft mouthfeel. At 18 dollars a four pack, snag it for your weekend plans!
Second, things are getting traditional. Patience and Perseverance is Butler Brew Works’ annual anniversary brew. Barrel aged to represent the tenacity and persistence it takes to survive in the craft beer industry, this beer is Butler Brew Works in a bottle.
For year five, they’ve aged a Belgian-style ale in wine barrels. Conditioned on gooseberries and bee balm, this beer is citrusy, fruity and loaded with barrel-aged flavor goodness. This 9% beer will be hand bottled and a limited release, so it’s perfect for your next celebration.
Cheers to five amazing years, Butler Brew Works! Head over to the celebration this weekend to enjoy an extended happy hour, live music, and limited release merch. Can’t wait to see what yinz guys do next!
