If you’re like me, this summer you’ve been favoring lagers and all things crispy. They’re hitting perfectly for me. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s too hot outside or that a well-made lager tells you a brewery has it together. Regardless, I’ve been so into all things clean and easy this summer.

Hop Farm Brewing over in Lawrenceville has the perfect selection of clean, easy, and expertly crafted beers of this style right now. Here’s what’s available that will satisfy your lager love (and another that’s clean and perfect but a pale ale)!

This first one has super limited stock right now, so if you want to try this bad boy out, run don’t walk over to Hop Farm. Luchadora is possibly the best Mexican lager that I’ve ever had. This amber lager has the perfect ratio of that malty and toasty flavor mixed with a crisp fresh taste that made me take a moment after my first sip. At 5.4%, this is a beer that is perfect for all day drinking.

Next, I’m loving these lighter, easy lagers that are coming out. Hop Farm Light (4.3%) is just the ticket! A light lager with subtle malty sweetness, this brew is exactly what you need when you want to drink local and kick it poolside. An obviously easy drinker, grab this for a hot one!

I’ve going to throw a combo breaker in for my last one. I love a pale ale, they’re the perfect blend of slightly hoppy and the cleaness that a lager style can provide. The Pittsburgh Pale Ale freaking knocked it out of the park for me. A 5.1% beer that is beyond refreshing, try this out ASAP.

The best part about this killer list? You can grab it tomorrow! Hop Farm is one of the few Pittsburgh breweries open on a Monday. What’s your favorite crispy brew? Let me know in the comments below!
