National IPA Day is next week (8/5), and Second Sin Brewing in Bristol, PA has big plans. They are releasing three special IPAs in honor of the holiday, including new batches of old favorites and a brand new Triple IPA. Oatey Boi and Singularity Citra return in second batches of each and Triple Prince makes its debut. Oatey Boi and Singularity Citra were two of Second Sin’s most popular beers. For example, the original batch of Oatey Boi holds a 4.3 average score on Untappd. However, that’s not all SAecond Sin has in store. They’re hosting a variety of events next month in honor of National IPA Day.
On Thursday, August 12th, Second Sin Brewing is hosting a bonsai workshop featuring Slip Pot Bonsai. Tickets include a dwarf jade “Elephant Bush,” wire, ceramic pot, and a Second Sin draft pour. Learn how to properly care for this plant while drinking some delicious beers from the host brewery. Tickets can be purchased here.
But wait. There’s more! They don’t usually have food trucks on Sundays, but there’s a special pop-up on Sunday, August 15th featuring Chef Dream Kasestated. His famous Thai street food is making its way to the Philadelphia area. You don’t want to miss this.
