I know it’s been entirely too hot outside, but I’ve got just the thing to cool you off and start your weekend. This Friday, there’s a great event hitting the South Hills of the ‘Burgh, and it’s totally worth crossing a bridge or two, promise.

The Travelling Beer Market is back, yinz! This is a monthly event hitting different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh with a rotating list of breweries pouring. Sponsored by the long-awaited Beers of the Burgh festival (I can’t wait!),this is another way to show some local love and have a few great brews! You can’t go wrong with it.

For July, you can end the month at Mindful Brewing in Castle Shannon. That’s right, the event is literally at a brewery this time. Double prizes and a killer to-go bottle shop to boot! The event lasts from 4-8pm this Friday, July 30th.

The breweries coming for this event hail from all of the corners of the ‘Burgh, so it’s a great way to try out a brewery you can’t normally get to. Millvale’s OG Grist House will be there, as well as Northside juggernaut Allegheny City Brewing. You’d normally have to get to Verona to sample Inner Groove’s wares, but they’ll be there. Closing out the list is Noble Stein Brewing, hailing from nearby Indiana, PA.

Want to take it to go? You can totally grab cans or bottles from the breweries present. There will also be other vendors to round out the experience. With the weather on Friday topping out at a lovely 74, this will be the best event to start the weekend!
