Ah, the IPA. A beer style that is much beloved by us beer folk. From East to West Coast, this is a versatile style that gives brewers a high degree of creativity. Recently, Eleventh Hour Brewing released two IPAs this week. Here’s what’s on tap.
I love yearly release serieses, and Eleventh Hour’s moon series for 2021 has been amazing so far. This week, the latest edition is out and ready.Buck Moon IPA is a brew that is kettle hopped with Denali and Cryo Eukanot. It’s also dry hopped with these two varieties! This brew has some gummy candy notes and lots of citrus and tangerine flavor. A smooth beer with the perfect amount of bitter and piney taste, this 7.2%er is an awesome entry to the moon series.
This wasn’t the only IPA released. New Cult is a reimagined take one on of Eleventh Hour’s first hazy IPAs. Loaded with Citra and Mosaic hops, this beer has that citrus and grapefruit taste we’ve all come to love in a hazy. Flaked oats and wheat create a lovely pillowy mouthfeel, while a subtle hop profile keeps the bitterness to a minimum. Creamy, clean, and balanced, this 7% brew is one you’ll be coming back to.
There’s several other hoppy brews available at Eleventh Hour as well. Broken Arrow is a double IPA that is smooth and crisp. Chock full of Centennial and Mosaic, this 8% beer walks the line between crisp and hazy. There’s also Madox (5.5%), a soft, pale ale that’s tropical punch flavored perfection. Embrace the hoppy side and grab some of the brews this week!
