What’s better than one new beer release? TWO new beer releases!! At KCBC in New York, they are dividing up their new stout release, Emerging From Darkness! The beer ages for a year in NY Distilling Rye Whiskey barrels, and then made into two new variants:
Emerging From Darkness w/ Coconut – aged on Ghanaian cacao nibs from Fine and Raw Chocolate, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans, and toasted coconut. It is best be described as “liquid dark chocolate.”
Emerging From Darkness w/ Coffee – getting the same delicious treatment of cacao nibs nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans. Except this time, it gets to condition with a medium-light roast coffee from Spectrum Coffees. The end result is a smooth, fudge-like, espresso quality to this beer!
If that wasn’t enough, a piece of the proceeds from the sales of this beer go to Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling. Drinking for a cause…what can be better??
