Ok, so it’s still technically morning, so I’m good here. Let’s start off by saying that the Cleveland Indians just changed their name (a move I think was warranted) however they totally pick a horrible name IMO. So many better ones I could think of for that team. But I could also just be an angry yinzer who hates Cleveland *shrugs* (just kidding, I love Cleveland!).
Yesterday, we went ahead and dropped the brewery lineup for Drink The Cookie Table, our *big* beer festival scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2021. To my surprise, the event went wayyyy better than I anticipated.
To be honest, I almost shed a few tears reading through all the comments. Everyone seems so excited for the event, and I seriously can’t wait to put it on.
For all of who don’t know about the event: We are putting on a 20-brewery festival at Spirit in Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh). This event will be called Drink The Cookie Table and is being deemed a “Celebration of Dessert Beers”.
To make this event work, we went out and found some of our favorite dessert beer makers local and nationwide, and invited them to come out to Pittsburgh for this one day. Fortunately, we were able to get the vast majority of those breweries to commit.
Drink The Cookie Table will feature not only a bunch of great beers by the breweries, but will also feature a bunch of new, collab beers with local Pittsburgh dessert makers. We will be featuring collabs with Sarris Candies, Pastries-A-La-Carte, Oakmont Bakery & a few other surprise places.
Also, as a reminder, you’ll be able to catch the Fueled By Hops crew at Beer Not On The Bay tomorrow from 1-4pm! Some great breweries will be there as well. Make sure you come check us out!

Recipe of the Day
I’m not a very big fan of drinking coffee, but I have been really digging cooking with coffee. I found this cheesesteak recipe that features Brazilian coffee and cinnamon, and I just might have to try it out.
That’s it for today! Cheers, Yinz! I’ll be back on Monday!
