If 21st Amendment were a college student, they would be old enough to drink (legally). One of the cornerstones of the California scene, 21st Amendment is celebrating their 21st anniversary with a beer true to their roots.
This addition to their anniversary beers is of course the classic West Coast IPA, but with a twist. They still use classic hops like Centennial, Cascade and Chinook to get those dank, piney flavors. The twist comes in when they dry hop the IPA with El Dorado and Cashmere hops. The result is the classic flavors of a West Coast IPA but with the additional taste of stone fruit added by the dry hopping.
21st Amendment has been a staple for so long, it is hard to not associate them with the IPA. After making it this far, here’s to another 21 years of innovation and brewing greatness! While I may never be able to try their full portfolio due to an unfortunate watermelon allergy, I will continue to drink all the new releases I can.
