If you’ve been following Old Thunder Brewing like I have, you know that they’re producing some top quality brews. I’ve been loving the pale ales and the IPAs that they’ve released! This week, there’s two new releases that I have on my radar. Hop lovers, take note – this one’s for you!
I’ve sung praises for pale ales before – they’re so good with a warm day and usually pretty sessionable. Existential Threat, the first release from the week is an American Pale that clocks in at 5.5%, is brewed with organic barley, wheat and cascade hops. Expect complex flavor notes of fresh citrus and summertime flowers. Loaded with flavor, this is a pale that is light and hazy.
But that’s not all! All These Demons, an American Double IPA was also released. A higher-gravity brew at 8%, this brew was created with UK-grown barley and a blend of American Hops. This is a dank one, friends. Chock full of grapefruit flavor, I need this beer. It’s a smooth drinker loaded with hop flavor. Both of these hazebois sound totally delightful!
These two releases have me wanting to get to Old Thunder as soon as possible! Both of these are available both on draft and in four packs to take home. There’s also SIX other brews on draft. If you’re a hop nerd, set a reminder – they open again on Thursday. You can’t miss out on these crazy hop-forward brews!
