Levante Brewing is one of the Philadelphia area’s most prominent breweries, including being one of the first to ship statewide. New Trail is one of the state’s most popular distribution breweries. You can find their acclaimed IPAs throughout the state. If either of these things interests you, you’re in luck. The two breweries came together for a third time to collaborate on the next installment of their directional IPAs. They called the first two collabs Pointing North and Pointing South, using hops from the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Naturally, they called this one Pointing East.

This 9% Double IPA uses the highly sought-after Australian Galaxy hops (Eastern hemisphere) along with American Amarillo and Talus. These hops produce tropical citrus notes with a nice dankness. Heavy additions of wheat and oats create a pillowy mouthfeel. Who needs a vacation when this beer will takes you to a tropical paradise in the eastern hemisphere?

Levante sells Pointing East on tap at both locations in West Chester and Chester Springs, PA. They also ship this beer statewide through their Mercury program. Customers can enjoy free shipping with orders over $75. For those located in Central PA, New Trails serves this beer at their Williamsport taproom. Both breweries also have 4-packs to go.
