Collaboration breeds creativity. When Bissell Brothers Brewing gave the okay for fellow New England brewery, Trillium, to brew their most famous beer, excellence was in the making. What we get is the interpretation of BBB’s “Swish”, affectionately named, Swishium.

Swish (BBB original version) is a pillar of the New England Hazy IPA. Staying true to the OG, Trillium uses the same malt base of Golden Promise, the gold standard for hazy beers (no pun intended). They load it with (possibly) Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops to give the beer fruity aromas, with just enough pine to balance out the flavor profile.

I do need to add the disclaimer that this beer sold out. Like, almost immediately. If you are near Trillium, you can get a taste on draft if you hurry. Otherwise, be prepared to trade some of your best IPAs to get a chance at this interesting collaboration.
