A South Philly brewery released their “hottest” beer of the year just in time for today’s 90° high with unforgiving humidity. I know the show was called It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, but it’s always hot and humid in Philadelphia. They really captured Philly’s Summer weather by calling this one Unrelenting Heat. Brewery ARS hopped this hazy Double IPA with El Dorado, Citra, and “Cryo Pop” hops, a blend of Cryo Hops. Yakima Chief produced this trademarked blend of Cryo Hops to maximize hop aroma. For more information on the Cryo Pop blend, please visit Yakima Chief’s website.
The hops used in Brewery ARS’ Unrelenting Heat produce notes of juicy tropical fruit, so it’s perfect for the Summer. Although you might want to take it slow because this beer has 8.2% ABV, which is almost double that of a crispy boi. Speaking of which, they have a Cream Ale and a Kolsch available. Order here.
Brewery ARS offers cans to go and growler fills. They’re also one of the only breweries in the area to offer “draft beer to go.” Yes, you can bring your beer in plastic up and walk around with it! Well, all breweries have draft beer to go… if you’re brave enough. I’m kidding. Don’t actually take draft beer from breweries that don’t allow it.
