The mighty beer can is one of my favorite things. Though nothing beats a beer on tap, in my humble opinion, cans are a close second. If I don’t have time to try everything I want, it’s a great way to support local and save some excellent brews for later days. This week, Altered Genius Brewing’s can releases are so good, they literally made me do a double take. Here’s what’s released!

Beer one: Hoptruvian IPA (7.2%). This is one of Altered Genius’s OGs. A truly classic IPA, it’s a hoppy, piney brew that is perfect for all IPA lovers. Clean and citrusy, this one is well balanced and goes down easy.

Beer two: Just Wright, Just Wright, Just Wright Triple IPA (10.2%). This one is a personal favorite of mine. I LOVE a high-gravity triple IPA and this seriously takes after its name and is juuuuust right. A combination of east and west coast styles, this is tropical in taste, oh-so-smooth, and perfectly boozy. A sneaky brew that doesn’t taste like a 10%er, you’ll love this beer.

Beer three: Dahl Peach Chipotle Saison (5.5%). Saisons are growing on me right now, especially with the hotter temps. This one is juicy and ripe as a peach brew should be, but there’s a surprise at the end! Hints of chipotle pepper make this a super unique brew. Expect this beer to be the right mix of juicy and spicy, and not overwhelming in taste.

Beer four: Amelia, New England IPA (8.8%). And they’re rounding things out with a good New England IPA for all of you hazy fans out there. The name and can art is amazing as well, Amelia Earhart was one of my heroes growing up! A heftier IPA, it’s loaded with a tropical taste that will make this beer perfect for summer days. Notes include coconut, guava, and passion fruit.

With a can list this excellent, these beers are sure to fly off the shelves as soon as possible! Head out to Altered Genius in Ambridge this weekend to grab any of these amazing beers! Cheers to four utterly amazing releases!
