I love beer and I also love movement. My favorite days are often a day where I can get an amazing hike in and then end it by grabbing a pint (or two) at a great brewery. A close second for me is yoga. It’s one of the few things that totally shuts my brain off. Beer and yoga? Sounds like a perfect day for me.
With everything getting back to normal, events are happening again at breweries! Yay! Stick City Beer just announced they are having yoga return to the taproom this summer on select Saturdays and Sundays. This is a great way to start your Sunday Funday with a different kind of flow.
Salt Power Yoga and Yoga on Mars will lead the two events. It’s as simple as this- for 20 dollars, you get a great yoga class to enjoy and a 10oz pour of your choice for after class ends. Want some grub too? They’ll be a food truck coming for when the brewery opens to the public not long after the class. Worried about social distancing? Spots are limited and the class will be occurring before the brewery opens, so you don’t have to fret about people walking in on your savasana.
Stick City also has some crazy good beer right now as well. This week, they released Dry Fly-Cicada, a 6.5% IPA. Brewed exclusively with Riwaka hops, this is loaded with the scent and flavor of kumquat citrus, white grape, and tropical herbs. Sounds like a perfect summer brew!I also love their Cabotsquatch (5.8%) , a classic brown ale. Expect those lovely chocolatey and caramelly dark beer notes you’ve grown to love like I do. Regardless of your beer choice, you seriously can’t go wrong!
This event will be held four times throughout summer on June 20th, July 3rd, July 17th, and August 1. All events happen before the brewery opens each day and spots are limited. Grab your tickets now and get ready to flow!
