This is a great weekend, guys. We have one more day off of work, and despite the weird, cold weather, there’s a ton to celebrate! Even though the temperatures might not be reminding us of summer, Two Frays Brewery is kicking off the summer season with a bang!
Located over in Garfield, I’ve been excitedly following Two Frays online and seeing their progress as they moved closer and closer to opening. This Friday, they opened their doors for the first time! Currently offering can pickups from Friday through Sunday, they made a big splash with their debut – there are FIVE options available!
I love a dark beer, so Jen’s Porter is the first one that strikes my eye. A 5.0% easy drinker, this beer was created to be around all year long at Two Frays. This colder, rainy weather has me appreciating dark beers more and I’d love to tuck into one of these this long weekend!
Then, there’s a classic Kolsch. Together Better is an easy 4.5% brew that is crisp, clean, and perfect for these summer days that are hopefully coming soon (fingers crossed). With floral hop notes and a biscuity malt back end, this beer is perfect for day drinking!
Hoppy brew fans out there? Guys, you’re covered as well. 2FB is a pale ale that will quench your thirst. A 5.5% beer, this is a super easy drinker with a great balance of hops and taste.
More of a New England IPA lover? Check out LG2P (6.2%). This one is a juicy but an atypical New England, it’s sweet and loaded with experimental HBC586 hops to create a flavor that is unlike any other. Try it out!
Where my West Coast IPA lovers at? Quiet Loud (7%) is going to be your jam. With the traditional West Coast water profile, malty grain bill and the best kind of bitter taste. Hopped with Eukanot, El Dorado and Galaxy hops, if you like IPAs, this one’s for you!
Currently, Two Frays is offering these views in four packs only for carry-out at this time. Stay tuned on their social media to see when the place opens up for pints in their outdoor beer garden. Welcome to the neighborhood, Two Frays! Cheers to an amazing first weekend!
