Does your Cinco de Mayo celebration revolve around tequila? Well, mine revolves around beer (…and tacos), but most breweries don’t sell tacos. That’s why I’m rounding up some of the best beers in the area to celebrate the holiday.

Brü Daddy’s Brewing in Allentown is releasing two beers to celebrate the holiday. They’re releasing Playa Fiesta, a crushable Mexican Lager brewed with house tortilla chips. However, if lagers aren’t your thing, they’re also selling Hazy Treat Mangonada, a hazy IPA conditioned on Mango and Lime purée and conditioned on Tajin (a blend of chiles, lime, and salt), but this isn’t the first time they released a holiday-themed beer! They dropped a 4/20 beer a few weeks ago.

Levante Brewing‘s latest rendition of their Hop Cartel West Coast IPAs came out this week. Hop Cartel: El Cinco, a piney Double IPA, is available now for pickup and shipping.

Lost Tavern Brewing released Fiesta Molé Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout for Cinco De Mayo. They conditioned this 9.75% whale on chocolate, vanilla, a touch of cinnamon, and ancho chili peppers. It’s available on tap and for pickup at both locations.

Tired Hands‘ “Street Taco” collaboration with Cellarmaker, TacoHands, goes live today. They brewed it with flaked maize, tortillas, lime zest & juice, coriander, cilantro, cracked black pepper, sea salt, and cumin, as well as ancho and guajillo chiles. It’s a taco in a beer, so you don’t even have to hit up the taqueria tonight.

Though it technically won’t be available for pickup until tomorrow (5/6), Warwick Farm Brewing’s Margarita Shandy goes on sale today at 5:00 PM. It’s a refreshing blend of German Lager, Lime Juice, and Salt.
