Millvale, PA-based Grist House announced earlier today that it will reopen it’s doors to the public once again on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Popular with Pittsburgh’s dog and craft beer enthusiasts, Grist House has grown a large following for it’s outstanding lineup of beers and it’s vast, dog-friendly outdoor area located just off Rt. 28 in Millvale.
Like many breweries in the area, Grist House was forced to temporarily close to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, moving to a 100% takeout-only business model. However now, like many breweries and restaurants in the area, Grist House is formulating a plan to safely reopen to the public.
The news of Grist House’s reopening comes on the same day that Pennsylvania’s Governor Wolf announced plans to lift a lot of COVID-19 restrictions later this month.
During their temporary shutdown, Grist House took advantage of the lack of foot traffic to make some upgrades to their Millvale property. We don’t have many details on all of the upgrades they’ve made, however, we do know that new structure was built on the property and they plan to showcase the new space when they officially reopen.
