Outdoor drinking season has begun, friends! Aside from this last week, the weather’s been warming up and I’m turning to being outside more and more. It feels good and tells me summer is coming! Tonight, I’ve got big news regarding a beloved tap garden opening its doors for the season again!
Sobel’s Obscure Brewery, located in Jeanette, PA, has their opening night for the tap garden this evening (Friday, April 23rd)! From now on, you can grab a pint on premises from Thursdays-Saturdays. Cheers to that!
Headed over tonight? Elegant Catering food truck is on premises ready to serve some amazing grub. And there’s a big beer release at the pop-up tap garden! Perfect for these warmer temps (fingers crossed), you can grab a pint of Raspberry Lemonade Blonde (6.0%)! A tart blonde ale with raspberry and lemon, this beer will have you thinking of summer days ahead. If you love tart and sour beers, visit this weekend and be some of the first to try this fresh brew!
The tap lineup for this opening weekend has something for everyone. Love fruity beers? Check out the Tangerine Sunshine, a 7% pale ale loaded with citrus flavor. For you hopheads out there, check out the Dumfoozle IPA, a 7% single-hop IPA loaded with Citra goodness. Stout nerd? Fear not, they’ve got you! The Midnight Stout, a 9% brew, is chock full of chocolate and coffee taste.
A couple things to note prior to heading to the tap garden. First, seating is limited and first come first serve. Sobel’s has requested that folks heading to the tap garden be mindful of others who also want to celebrate the reopening and practice social distancing.
Cheers to the pop-up tap garden reopening, Sobel’s! I can’t wait to visit!
