Dock Street Brewery opened in 1985 in a decommissioned firehouse in West Philadelphia. They pride themselves in being the first craft brewery established in the city, and they have one of the most interesting locations as well. The rustic firehouse in West Philly is perfect for them because they serve wood-fired pizza. Dock Street also serves a few small plates to go with their famous pizza, including gourmet Panko-dredged Fried Mozzarella. If you’re a fan of pizza and beer, you’re in luck! The original location at 701 S 50th St, Philadelphia, PA 19143 reopened for indoor dining this week. Who doesn’t want homemade pizza and cold beers?
Dock Street Brewery is also reopening their South Philly location, aptly named Dock Street South, for indoor dining. While they also serve wood-fired pizzas, Dock Street South’s menu contains a wider variety of dishes including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more. They also offer DIY Pizza Kits that include everything you need to bake the pies at home!
If you can’t make it to one of their locations, Dock Street delivers locally to neighborhoods in Philadelphia. In addition, they offer free delivery on orders over $75 with code BRINGMEBEER75. Click here to order delivery.
If you’re feeling altruistic, customers can donate pizza here to the FEMA vaccine location and homeless shelters.
