If you like hoppy beers, you know that Levante and Lost Tavern have been putting out some of the best IPAs in the greater Philadelphia area. Especially when it comes to collaborations, they’ve been working with some of the most reputable breweries in Pennsylvania. Now, they worked together to bring you two new hoppy beers tomorrow, April 7th.
Levante and Lost Tavern first brewed Bodacity, a Double New England IPA, in 2018. Fans raved about it on Untappd, describing this beer as hop forward and smooth. As for ingredients, they hopped this beer with Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado, and African Queen. These hops pack this beer with notes of sweet apricot marmalade, squishy blueberry, and ripe peach. You might recall Levante used African Queen in their collaboration with New Trail, Pointing South.
Press The Flesh is a brand new Triple IPA for both of these breweries. They hopped it similarly to Bodacity, with African Queen, El Dorado, Mosaic, and Citra. However, they conditioned it on Orange Muscat Grape Juice. The hops and grape juice lend notes of orange blossom, ripe red berry, sweet tropical citrus fruit, and white grape to this beer.
Levante is selling these beers online for pickup at their West Chester and Chester Springs locations starting at midnight. They also ship throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Lost Tavern will sell them for takeout at both Bethlehem and Hellertown. Draft beer is available at all four locations.
