The Great American Beer Festival (GABF), the nation’s largest ticketed beer festival put on annually by the Brewer’s Association, announced today that the in-person portion of the prestigious event will be postponed as a result safety and health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

While the in-person portion of the festival will be postponed this year, the 2021 GABF competition and awards ceremony will continue via the Craft Brewers Conference® & Brew Expo America® (CBC) to be held September 10, 2021 at Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. Denver Beer Week, Denver’s annual event that coincides with the GABF, will change dates to coincide with the CBC.

While craft beer fans won’t be able to attend GABF this year, they will be able to participate in GABF’s national passport program which will give them exclusive deals at participating breweries across the nation from September 17-October 17, 2021. Passport tickets go on sale this July.

More details about this news can be found via this release from the Brewer’s Association.
