As we’re all recovering from the massive sugar high we’ve had this weekend due to all of the Easter sweets, there have been some killer releases that would sate one’s alcohol sweet tooth this week. Regardless of your treat or candy poison of choice, I’ve got you covered!

First, let’s take things down to chocolate town with one of the beers that I missed out on this weekend, but will be applying ALL of my hunting skills to secure in the next week. I love a good, high ABV stout and Four Points Brewing’s released Man, Beast and Bird: Coconut Cacao. An 11% brew and the second in a series inspired by the Whiskey Rebellion (yay, history!), this beer is loaded with coconut, cacao nibs and vanilla. The result? An incredibly thick and rich stout, everything you need from this style!

Next, I’m looping in a sweet perennial favorite. Cinderlands Beer’s fantastic Arch and Drum stout is an established favorite in my house. I have to buy at least a 4-pack whenever it’s available. A 10% double milk stout, this brew has big coffee notes and a chocolate and vanilla taste that is unforgettable. A lovely thick beer, this brew ends on a maple note that sends it over the top! It’s perfect and you need it, trust me.

Last, here’s one for those of us who love other sweets just as much as chocolate. Abjuration Brewing released a killer brew this week, friends! Bright blue in color and a smash hit in flavor, Candied Sour 1.7 (5.6%) hits all of those blue raspberry slushie notes that we loved as kids. A delicious, tart sour with flavor that is spot on, you can’t miss this one. It’s childhood nostalgia in a glass, perfect for Easter weekend.

These are just three of the sweet treats that I’ve uncovered this weekend. What’s been in your class as you celebrate? Let me know in the comments below.
