Brewed with only a couple of malts, the hop choices of Amarillo and Citra are super hop and citrus forward. Paired with the over 600 pounds of Tangerine pulp the beer is conditioned on, the beer is a literal juice bomb. As if that was not enough, they are conditioned on more Citra and zested Florida Tangerines.
Triple IPAs have a dangerous tendency to cross over from deliciously decadent to overwhelming. With Tangerine Peel, the goal is to come out with a beer that is loud but still balanced so you can taste the key components. It is a Triple IPA while also being “carbonated…tangerine juice.”
