If a brewery ever needed an excuse to release beers both old and new, an anniversary is as good as any. To celebrate Holy Mountain’s 6th anniversary, the brewery is bringing back one of its original beers, while introducing a new IPA for the equation.
Kiln & Cone was not one of but THE first hoppy beer the brewery ever brewed. Initially used as a canvas for different hops in the taproom, this batch is just as true to that mentality now as ever. With a grist of mostly base malt, oats, and wheat, Idaho 7 and Simcoe are the stars of this beer. Not short on hop flavor, Kiln & Cone will make you see how Holy Mountain got the reputation it has.
Inherit the Flames is the new introduction to the brewery’s lineup. With a grain bill low on caramel and dark malts, this beer again showcases the power of the hop. Cashmere, Comet, and Mosaic give the beer huge fruit and citrus flavors, making the Holy Mountain team excited about its release.
