Do you know the best thing that’s come out of this pandemic? More local breweries opened to home delivery and statewide shipping. Who doesn’t love beer showing up at their front door? I personally love not having to show up at a brewery with a folding chair two hours before they open. Well, one brewery is capitalizing on this pandemic’s physical restrictions. The Philadelphia area’s most famous brewery, Tired Hands, has expanded its home delivery service to Virginia.
They were the first brewery to begin shipping within Pennsylvania and recently opened shipping up to residents of Washington, DC. Now, yet another state can purchase their beers for home delivery! They’ve started shipping to the state of Virginia today with the release of a brand new beer.
Tired Hands recently collaborated with Private Press Brewing out of Santa Cruz, CA. Ripped Apart By Metal Explosions is a DDH Mosaic and Riwaka IPA. These hops create notes of Cara Cara orange, honeydew melon, champagne mango, subtle pine, and lychee gummies. Additionally, they used a “mountain of oats” to give this beer a soft, pillowy body. This beer is available now for shipping to PA, DC, and VA through their Dudley Direct service.
