The first full week of 2020 has come and gone, my friends! We did it! And, I already have a new tradition at a place that has changed the game for me. I’ve got the key to your perfect Sunday.

After 30+ years of life, I am finally coming around to the concept of Brunch. Lincoln Avenue Brewery has been a huge part of it! They run a weekly Sunday brunch special that has been the perfect way to start my #sundayfunday.

Located over in the heart of Bellevue, Lincoln Avenue is close to my personal home and heart. When you visit, you’re family. Owners Grant and Lisa Saylor are some of the kindest folks I know and have created my favorite Sunday tradition, with killer beer to boot!

As of right now, the Breakfast Pizza has my heart. Loaded with all of the savory things that I love (sausage, bacon, egg, potatoes, cheese), it’s not too heavy and juuust right. The breakfast sandwiches are also amazing. With options loaded with extras like sriracha mayo, candied jalapeño, and roasted peppers, you seriously can’t go wrong.  Jalapeño butternut hash, French toast, and lots of other goodies make this menu perfect. I want to eat it all!

Obviously, you’ll have to wash it down with some tasty brews! One of my favorite styles from Lincoln Avenue is their stouts. This week, we ordered a growler of the Double Chocolate Stout (5.5%). This milk stout was smooth, toasty, and perfect alongside our brunch. I recommend that beer for some lovely day drinking!

Not into stouts? There’s some other awesome options as well. Quarantine Unmasked (5.6%) is a lovely hazy IPA  loaded with centennial, cascade, and mosaic hops. The result is a perfectly hopped beer, well balanced with some malty goodness, and exceptionally easy to drink. There’s also an Extra Special Bitter, a Wet Hopped Amber, and so much more I want to try!

Make Lincoln Avenue a part of your next weekend! Grab some food and brews and let us know how it is! Cheers to new traditions in 2021!
