“Doooog will hunt”

If you are a fan of craft beer, strawberries, and 90’s Alternative Music, then Thin Man Brewery (Buffalo, New York) has the perfect beer for you: Berry Was a Race Car Driver.

“Berry Was a Race Car Driver” is a strawberry vanilla lactose sour ale with the main goal being drinkability without sacrificing flavor.

What has been described as what a strawberry Starburst beer would taste like, “Berry” is a sessionable sour at 6% ABV. With the sweet fruitiness from the strawberries, and creaminess from an addition of vanilla, the beer never strays too far in any particular flavor direction. Balancing the flavors in a low ABV beer is much tougher than say, Imperial Stouts, making a beer like “Berry” a prime example of perfected brewing technique.

While it may take a trip up north to get your hands on some, Thin Man is constantly putting out new beers on draft and to-go to persuade you. Plus with the Buffalo Bills looking as good as they ever have heading into the upcoming playoffs, the town and brewery will definitely be boiling over with excitement if you visit soon. Just saying.
