The Hoppiest of Holidaze are here (Happy Hanukkah!) or soon upon us and with the hefty snowfall we are experiencing here in Western PA, it’s got me feelin’ reeeeal holly jolly (could also have something to do with taking a half day at the office and enjoying a New Belgium Accumulation, but that’s neither here nor there…)

Jen (@hellobrewtifulpgh) showed me MagsBonham’s Etsy shop and I am over the moon with her ornaments! Who doesn’t want Heady-Topper living on their tree? (Now this gives me an idea… a tree topper that is a Heady-Topper can? Hm, I’m sure it’s been done. But it could be done again… by me). Another cool ornament in her shop is the Engraved Pennsylvania Breweries ornament, (pictured above) that has all the good breweries PA has to offer stuffed inside the shape of the beloved Keystone state. Not from PA? No problem! There’s an ornament for every state that’s notorious for good craft beer. Check out all the good stuff she has to offer, here and be sure to follow her on Instagram!

This next one is for the extra nerdy craft beer lovers (because, let’s all face it, at the end of the day, you, me and anyone else reading this blog is a straight up, 100% certified craft beer nerd… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.)

Nikola Jewelry, based in San Fransisco, has some amazing looking jewelry on a molecular level. Literally. These nerdy works of art are all molecular representations of the things we love the most, like Caffeine, Chocolate, and of course Hops! (alongside some other mind-altering substances that shall remain nameless here, but you can have a look for yourself… wink.)

This necklace is the molecular composition of Humulone, the alpha-acid found in hops, which gives hops the bitter, hoppy taste we all know and love. Humulone also keeps harmful microorganisms from forming in beer and aids in creating a lovely pillow of foamy heaven at the top of the pour. Nancy, the shop owner, packages the item in a natural jewelry box and supplies a molecule information card. Act fast, because according to Etsy, there’s only 3 more of these bad boys available. Don’t sleep on these unique jewelry gifts! Check out her Etsy shop here!

Yuletide Cheers, Yinz!
