Hi, what are you looking for?

Support Female Owned Craft Beer Biz with Mel’s Holiday Gift Guide: 3rd Edition!

Cheers, Fueled Fam and Friends! Apologies for the late post, as I had a gnarly migraine yesterday and the last thing you want to do for it’s duration is look at a screen of any sort.

Let’s get right into me and Jen’s (@hellobrewtifulpgh) picks for week 3 of our Holiday Gift Guide! Jen brought this one to my attention, and I can believe I didn’t already know about it… boozy cookies!? Uh, yes, take my money, please!

Boozy Bettie’s Cookies is a collaborative effort of four amazing women whose mission is to inspire creativity and support each other. Together they create delicious boozy cookies and treats. Based in Etna, Boozy Bettie’s is now shipping in the US and will soon expand their physical presence to Connecticut.

Order your loved one a dozen Bourbon’d Smores, a double chocolate cookie with a Bourbon’d marshmallow. Or maybe get yourself a half dozen of the Full Monti, a sugar cookie with Bacon Crack Jam and Jalapeño Vodka Cream filling as a treat to enjoy while gift wrapping.

Boozy Bettie’s has expanded into catering bridal showers, weddings, office events and more. Make sure to place your holiday orders soon!” Be sure to follow @boozybettiescookies on Instagram.

Girls in Craft was developed in 2017 because their founder, Jenn Suarez noticed a gap in the craft beer apparel that was made available to women. Girls in Craft focuses on fit, feel and colors she found women were looking for. Not only will you find apparel items like Hats, Shirts (which are not babydoll cut, and actually offer many different styles and fits, which I fully appreciate) and Outerwear, you will also find Drinkware items like Nalgene bottles and koozies as well as home goods like candles, coasters and a wall mounted bottle opener (who doesnt want that?!) This is a great online store to shop for your favorite craft beer drinkin’ gal pal! Head on over to their Insta: @girlsincraft

One of my personal favorite beer-related Instagram accounts, @thebeeroness is Jackie Dodd-Mallory who turns out incredible looking recipes that allow you to “have your beer and eat it too.”

I’ve followed a few of her recipes (shout out to her Ridiculously Good Stout Vegan Brownies, which indeed, lived up to their namesake) and I can say with full confidence that her recipes are always a hit. Lucky for us, she has three different cookbooks available and they’d make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook or wants to learn and who simply loves craft beer. Available are Lush, a Vegetarian Cooking with Beer cookbook, The Craft Beer Cookbook, and Craft Beer Bites. If you want to be a little extra, you could also request an autographed copy of her books! Check ’em aht, here!

Happy shopping!
