In a way, brewery milestones are everyone’s milestones, right? I do not mean to imply that the average beer enthusiast should take credit for the hard work, dedication and passion that brewery workers employ every day for our enjoyment, but their dedication to consuming delicious libations en masse is the only reason so many of us beer workers are able to stay open. So cheers to you “hobbyists,” but more importantly, a big congratulations to Lone Tree Brewing Company on 9 whole years of beers!
To celebrate, the longstanding brewery just hosted a pseudo-party, courtesy of the ever-annoying COVID crisis. A little pandemic couldn’t stop these folks from doing something extra special- a take-home celebration pack for safe enjoyment on your own time. According to the Facebook announcement, the party pack will include “…8 unique beers made by the staff that split into pairs along with a can of our anniversary release, Whiskey Barrel Aged Baltic Porter.” Friggin’ yum. In addition to this exciting curation by the staff of the brewery, the packs will also include a limited edition anniversary glass, as well as a “…surprise Lone Tree glass.” Knowing the FueledFam’s proclivity for limited edition glassware, this celebration would’ve been a hard one to miss.
In addition to all of these wonderful details, the brewery will be releasing a special whiskey barrel-aged version of their 70 Karat Cream Ale on draft, brewed with cinnamon and lactose. The post says the following of the special beer: “Think of the BA Karat Cream as having a glass of whiskey with your carrot cake.”
The brewery is pulling out all of the socially-distanced and safe stops for this one, so if you’re able, please get out and support! Colorado’s breweries have found themselves back under heavy restrictions in response to the pandemic, and once again, they can only make it through if you keep on drinking. What an easy way to do your part!
