‘Tis the season and Other Half are bringing the cheer with their holiday-themed beer, Reindeer Blood Double Crunchee. This Imperial Granola Berliner Weisse is a riff on a fan favorite, Tiger Blood.
Still packed full of the strawberry and watermelon of the original, they turn up the holiday level with an addition of dark cherry to the mix. Its body then gets the “crunchee combo”: almonds, toasted coconut, vanilla, maple, cinnamon, and milk sugar.
It is refreshing to see a holiday beer that is not full of baking spices or some variation of a stout. Truly a unique addition to the holiday selection and very representative of Other Half, Reindeer Blood will be an excellent addition to any holiday celebration.
