Spent from Black Fri, Small Biz Saturday, Small Brewery Sunday, Cyber Monday..? Well, dig into those pockets, folks, cause me and Jen (@hellowbrewtifulpgh) are back with more of our favorite female owned, craft beer centric, small businesses!
Without further adieu…
The Brewers Daughter’s, (Kat and Kels) are two sisters from Lexington, KY and daughters of the brewer for their family owned brewery, @oldloubrew. These girls are so awesome, and they come equipped with an affinity for sharing their favorite craft beers and advocating for industry equality and inclusion. Recently, they launched a campaign to raise funds for Lexington craft beer bartenders who were affected by the pandemic. If you donate as little as $5, they’ll send you a sticker. In addition to the GoFundMe campaign, they launched their first ever cyberstore chalk full of shirts, hoodies, blankets, you name it, with their adorable new logo! Head on over to their shop!
Next up is Jen’s pick:
“Caroline, @aglimmerofhop , is an artist out of Northern VA. Caroline has designed a collection of stickers to reflect the diversity in beer and the beer community. Caroline is an incredible artist and advocate. The profits from her “All Love is Brewtiful” is going directly toward an LGBTQ+ organization. With causes like these and adorable products, her shop is a must for any craft beer enthusiast!”
Pretty Pennie Jewellery showcases works of the talented Canadian metalsmith behind it all, Hilary Pennie. On her Etsy site, you can find hop cone earrings, hop inspired pendants and my favorite, ‘The Hoppy Growler’ charm. These little guys have such amazing detail and carry a bit of weight to them. If you’re looking for some well-made craft beer jewelry, look no further than Pretty Pennie! (I should add that she offers a wide range of selection, outside of beer related items too!)
