Some of the best election-themed beers have come out of the birthplace of America. Philadelphia breweries are producing some of the best and most creative beers inspired by the political climate. So we decided to list some of the best ones you can drink while you await the results of this year’s election.
The Larimer brewed Bad Apples Happen In Philadelphia inspired by the famous line during one of the presidential debates. The Chester, PA brewery made this with apples and cranberries, so it’s perfect for the fall! Delivery and curbside pickup are available for this beer.
Second Sin Brewing is releasing I Voted For Kodos and I Voted For Kang. Inspired by The Simpsons, these beers are essentially the same base recipe with different labels. They both have a base of 2-row malt, Malted Oats, and light Crystal. Second Sin Brewing hopped this beer with a base of Galaxy and Idaho 7. However, the primary hops are different. They used Citra as the primary hop for Hang and Mosaic for Kodos. 4-packs are available for pickup on their site.

Tired Hands I Voted Today is a nationwide initiative to encourage people to vote. Breweries from all over the country participated in this collaboration, so it’s available at most breweries. Not only did local breweries collaborate, but the infamous Equilibrium from Nw York participated, too. The original Tired Hands versions of I Voted Today are available at their locations in Ardmore and Fishtown.
