When I want to go out for a meal and a brew, Cinderlands always tops my list. With amazing food, COVID protocol that is easy to follow and anxiety free, and beer variety for days, I always leave happy. Cinderlands has some amazing beers right now that absolutely blow my mind! Add them to your beer run list, or visit this weekend to try any of these brews!
First off, an old favorite returns. Us Yinzers can always count on Cinderlands for a wide variety of beer styles. Il Spundo (5.4%) is an Italian-Style Pilsner that has a following. Juiced up with IPA-level dry hopping, this beer packs a hoppy punch but drinks easy.
Next, the one that really excites me. Strip District Reserve (6.8%) is a collaboration with two local spirit juggernauts, Maggie’s Farm Rum, and Wigle Whiskey. This IPA is brewed with Motueka, Strata, and Columbus hops. This brew also benefits a local charity! Portions of the proceeds go to Strip District Neighbors, a local charity that works to keep the Strip clean, safe, and liveable. Local artist Abby Rose created the can art, and it’s phenomenal!
Fruited sour fans, I’ve got you. Triple Berry, one of Cinderlands’ amazing tartshake IPA offerings is available as well. Lactose laden, kettle-soured, and berrylicious, there’s a fantastic vanilla undertone to this beer. At 7.2%, this entry to the tartshake series is a must-have for those who prefer brews that pack a bit of a punch.
Lastly, there’s one last killer collab for the week. It’s a DIPA… and a big one, my friends! ILINOHPA (8.2%) is a hazy, juicy double IPA brewed for maximum dankness. Inspired by the many drives taken between Pittsburgh and Chicago, this beer is a collaboration with Hop Butcher, a brewery from the Windy City. Hazy, pungent and tropical, all you haze fans out there should snag this beer.
Friends, there is no reason not to grab some beer from Cinderlands this weekend! Whether it be take out or in person over some amazing food, they’ve got your weekend needs covered. Visit and let us know your favorite of these four amazing releases!
