Warwick Farm Brewing double dry-hopped their most popular beer to date, DDH Citra Sensation. The OG Citra Sensation was the first in a series of single-hopped IPAs from the Bucks County brewery. These IPAs began in their “Workshop” series when they used a new yeast strain that was an instant hit with their fans. This yeast strain is perfect for juicy New England IPAs. Hence, why they used it for DDH Citra Sensation as well as the rest of the series. The Sensation beers featured a variety of American hops including Mosaic and Galaxy, but Citra is by far the most popular. So you don’t want to miss this release!
Additionally, Double Dry-hopped Citra Sensation is the first beer they openly double dry-hopped. They never mentioned the term when releasing beers before this, so this will have twice the flavor as previously released IPAs. Warwick Farm used Citra hops in the boil, first dry-hop, and second dry-hop. As a result, you can expect a pillowy smooth tropical citrus flavor. DDH Citra Sensation goes on sale this Wednesday, October 14th, at 5 PM on their website. Also, be sure to check out their Fall Field Days beer garden and their other available releases.
