One of the Pittsburgh breweries to take us yinzers by storm recently is Union Brothers Brewing. Opening earlier this year in Zelienople, this is an amazing addition to the craft beer scene here in the ‘Burgh. The hype is real!
The beer that I have always heard a ton of positive reaction to is the sauced series. A sour ale, Union Brothers has released several excellent iterations of this brew for us to enjoy! This week, they’re taking it a step further.
Union Brothers is releasing their first canned beers this weekend! Sauced: Peach Mango Passionfruit is the first beer to receive this treatment! Oozing with ripe tart peaches, big juicy mangoes and passionfruit, this fruit-forward beer has my mouth watering. With some Madagascar vanilla bean notes and milk sugar sweetness, this sour is juuuust right. For 20 bucks a four pack, I’m sold!
So, how to make this brew a part of your can run this weekend? Check out the brewery to pick up some cans! While you’re there, you can totally sample this tasty brew on draft – they’ve got plenty on tap. And Sauced isn’t the only beer drop from them this weekend!
There’s also a new DIPA and Stout available to try! How to: Initiate a Slow Clap (8.5%), a hazy IPA double dry hopped with citra, galaxy and southern passion hops is sure to satisfy you hop heads out there! Cherry Pickin, an imperial double milk stout at 8.7% is chocolate covered cherries in a glass. Chocolatey and toasty, sounds like an excellent beer for a fall night!
A massive congrats to Union Brothers on their first can release! We here at Fueled raise a glass to this achievement and can’t wait to see what happens next! Cheers!
