One of the best phrases I can utter right now is NEW BREWERY ALERT! It feels excellent to say, and makes me hopeful that we are getting closer and closer to whatever normal looks like in 2020. This upcoming weekend, we have some epic news to report!
Allusion Brewing, located in Vandergrift, PA, will be opening their doors on October 10th! About an hour from Pittsburgh, this brewery boasts quite the tap list for their first weekend!
Their grand opening tap list includes a brown, a porter, and a great variety of other tasty brews. I’m personally interested in the Oh, Bother! (4.5%) blonde ale. A sweet, malty golden ale, this lighter beer is dripping with honey taste. Count me in!
Not into blondes? There are other options available as well, don’t you worry. Allusion is releasing key details and information on their full offerings to prepare us for next weekend! The Baker St. Brown is a traditional English Brown Ale loaded with caramel and roasted notes. This is the perfect fall beer to kick back with and enjoy!
Opening during a pandemic is an amazing effort to begin with, but Allusion has taken things a step further. The brewers have channeled their excitement for the opening to create a special “white whale” stout called First Day. What an amazing way to start things off! Stay tuned on Allusion’s social media accounts this week, and cheers to another amazing brewery opening!
