I attended Broken Goblet Brewing‘s Hoppy Halloween 2018 where I first tried Odd Logic and Second Sin Brewing. Hoppy Halloween was my favorite beer festival to date! It was great to try beers that weren’t yet available. These breweries weren’t open yet, but they now have locations in Bristol, PA. Second Sin Brewing is actually located in Broken Goblet’s old brewery. Hoppy Halloween is an annual event that features 30 different breweries and distilleries from the area including a few nano breweries. Although you can’t get all the beers from other breweries this year, you can still pick up some Broken Goblet beer to enjoy in your new custom glass (pictured). Current offerings include the No One Likes Us, We Don’t Care IPA inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Deathclaw Juice Mango Sour IPA.
They canceled the annual event due to COVID-19, but they are still selling custom glassware and apparel this year. The design is inspired by classic horror movie characters and features Jason, Pennywise, Freddy Krueger, and more. The glassware is unavailable for shipping do to timing. Customers wouldn’t receive the glasses prior to Halloween, so it can’t be shipped. However, Broken Goblet is shipping the apparel. There are only 140 glasses available. Due to the popularity of this event along with the hype surrounding custom glassware, they will sell out quickly! The link goes live Tuesday, September 22nd, at 8 PM, and will be posted on their social media at this time. Glasses will be available for pickup at the brewery the week of Halloween.
