Lagerlands Opens this Weekend in Pittsburgh!

Is it just me, or do these short weeks feel like they take EONS to get through. Happy Thursday, fellow beer nerds. Tomorrow comes Friday, a much needed day to grab a pint and breathe easy – it’s the weekend once more!

Starting this weekend, we have an amazing opportunity to grab a pint in the heart of the ‘Burgh. Located at 339 McKean Street dahntahn (15219 zip), Lagerlands, a socially distant beer garden, opens to the public this weekend! Presented by Hop Culture Magazine, De Fer Coffee and Tea and Cinderlands beer, this is an outdoor space that looks like it’s a can’t miss!

Lagerlands has the night all planned out for you. Food? Burgh’ers Brewing will be selling their fabulous sandwiches (seriously, MY FAVORITE BURGERS) on site to cover your meal. Designated driver or taking it easy for the day? Coffee options and non-alcoholic beverages are also available! Color me intrigued by the Shrub Sparkler, a strawberry, basil and balsamic alcohol-free drink!

Now, for the important part, the brews! There are some AMAZING options available for purchase. Personally, I recommend the Palette IPA from Burgh’ers, this juicy haze bomb was their Fresh Fest Collab! Cinderlands has a ton of tasty brews available on site as well (hence the name), and I personally love the Squish Pale Ale and Pineapples in Passionfruit Space. Both of those are tasty options! Sly Fox and  DSSOLVR (An Asheville, NC brewery)  also have some great brews available at the garden.

So how does this work? Check out their website to book a reservation. Select the day you’re interested in and which seating you’d prefer (highline or riverview – both views are gorgeous). Tables are available for 2,4,5 and 6. There is a deposit, but don’t worry, you can apply it towards the beverages. Show up at your time and bring your mask! Don’t worry – tables are socially distanced to make sure that we’re all COVID-safe.

Doesn’t this sound like a great time? Spots are filling up fast so book your reservation ASAP. This garden is going to be around for a while so you can visit until well into the fall. Come on dahn n’at to Lagerlands and chill this weekend!
