You may or may not know but September 1st officially begins National Honey Month. To celebrate the occasion, Trillium Brewing Company (Canton, MA) is teaming up with the Pink Boots Society and the National Honey Board to produce their latest Double IPA, Mosaic Cutting Tiles.
Pink Boots Society is an organization looking to promote and encourage women in the beer industry by providing education. They have chapters across the US and on five continents. This month, they are teaming up with the National Honey Board and Trillium for this unique collaboration. Trillium jumped at the opportunity to help support these two organizations and saw their experimental Cutting Tiles series as the perfect beer to use.
Cutting Tiles is an IPA series that highlights a single-hop varietal and is brewed with raw local wildflower honey. For this iteration, the National Honey Board will donate the cost of the honey in this Mosaic focused ale as well as partially cover some of the other ingredients used.
This beer will be available this week at all three Trillium locations. It will also come with a special honey tasting kit for the “Bee to Beer Bottle” webinar, hosted by the National Honey Board.
