Our collaboration beer with Sobel’s Obscure Brewery releases this week!

I’ve been waiting to make this announcement for some time now!

When we started Fueled By Fitness (our 90-day fitness challenge for beer nerds), Jackie Sobel, of Sobel’s Obscure Brewery in Jeanette, and I began brainstorming a beer that was “fit” for the fitness crew.

Since it’s summer, we wanted something light, crushable, and fruity. Since I’m not a brewer (AT ALL!), Jackie did most of the work here.

After some back and forth, Jackie told me that she came up with a Kolsch recipe that features lemons and cucumbers. My response was just simply, “Nailed it!”.

At that moment, Fit Fuel Kolsch was born!

We decided to go old school with this beer and bottle it in bomber bottles! Yes, this beer will be BOTTLED, not canned! You can’t fit all this fitness in a can!

To make the beer even more impressive, Sobel’s created an absolutely sick label that brings in an old comic book feel while showing off the “fitness” idea we are trying to hit!

This will be an extremely, and I stress EXTREMELY, limited release. We’re looking at only about 150 bottles hitting the market!

This beer goes on sale later this week. We will be dropping the link to purchase in our Facebook group FIRST. So, if you’re not in our Facebook group, be sure to get join us so you don’t miss out!
